I have very dark hair, too dark imo, so I like to lighten it to a something closer to medium brown (it's naturally close the very dark brown, but not quite black).I used Revlon Medium Chestnut Brown for the first time, and I got a real surprise.

I usually mix 2 colors, using 1/2 & 1/2 in one bottle of developer, sometimes adding in burgundy in winter, golden brown in spring/summer.
