super slim, just enough grip to keep a good hold on it without being overly grippy so as not to be able to be pulled out of a pocket quickly.the only weak area seems to be around the volume buttons.

I feel like I am going to break some of the more fragile areas on the case when trying to get it off.

The area around the volume buttons tends to break eventually (it happened on 2 cases)

Reason why 4 stars: the top and bottom bevel doesn't have any protection, so those area will get scratches & dents after a while

I finally ended up breaking the case, but wasn't disapointed that it had protected my iphone as well as it did and as long as it did.

It's not really protection as much as it is just a fashion statement.
