The product is very cleverly designed, with a silicone mesh that holds the phone in place in addition to the spring-loaded clips that squeeze it from the side.

Nice design, attachment is totally solid and it never loosens, and it even comes with a few extra rubber straps (even though I’ve ridden hundreds of miles and have yet to have one snap)

Its not really a design flaw just something to keep in mind that you'll have to tighten down for using GPS
