    Rock Band 3 - Xbox 360 (Game)

    • Like any new thing, Rock Band 3 takes a little getting use to, especially after two years of Rock Band 2.
    • The good thing is if you have a previous rockband game and DLC the game gets more enjoyable but that means it turns into more of the same
    • The cool thing about Pro Mode is that if you learn to play a song in the game in Pro Mode on Expert difficulty, you're actaully playing the real song note for note, meaning you've leared to play real music.
    • Since the core gameplay was already great, this isn't a bad thing, but don't expect the experience to feel different or revolutionary
    • I think the only negative thing I can say about the game is that I miss the fun facts about bands that would display while the songs were loading
    • The only thing I did'nt like was that "Dani California" by Red Hot chili Peppers which appeared in the live action Death Note movie was not carried over to three from the first Rock Band which is a darn shame (I really like that song). The game modes are neat and are kind of linked
    • Another good thing about PRO-drums is that all DLC has the PRO-drums in their charts.
    • Which isn't such a bad thing
    • Another nice thing is that all the menus are based around your band; you'll see them prepare in the garage, drive to the show, set up their gear, all of it, and that really makes the experience more personal and immersive
    • Guitarsmith blows this thing away and uses my "real" guitars
    • However, I'm sure there are many people who enjoy them, and the variety can only be a good thing.
    • You can drop out or join in on an instrument as you see fit, change difficulties, turn on no-fail mode, and a bunch of helpful things, all in the middle of a set list
    • There are a lot of nice things about Rock Band 3 such as the vocal harmonies, new instruments and new modes, along with updated looks.
    • (however I will say the piano tutorials actually delve into music theory so a+ there)It's like HMX had a totally awesome thing going leading up to Beatles Rock Band (which I still think knocked it out of the park) and then squandered it with Green Day Rock Band (seriously?
