Its clear that the construction quality of the spine is low - its made of cheap, flimsy plastic

The notebook itself is not made very well, I travel with mine and not only is the color wearing from the front cover but the very very cheap plastic binder that keeps the pages intact is splitting apart from both the top and the bottom.

The main reason for my three star rating is that the binder coils are very cheap plastic and several of the coils broke within the first week of use by just placing in my backpack in a separate compartment.
