if you have little space but want big boom this will work for you.sounds great in a sealed box with good amp.

In fact the P3's hit harder at 4ohm than the JL's at 2ohm, which is awesome because I don't have to work the amp so hard to get the sound I want

Going with the 500x1D RF amp is a good move (or another honest 500W+ amp at 2 ohms)

By an amp for your highs/mids, buy a good amp plus box and a boost controller (Real important because not all songs play the same and you'll need to adjust depending on music) then listen away and be the envy of everyone around you

Also, spend an extra $50 and get a good amp

If you want to drive this with the RF 250 amp or something comparable (like any of the cheap mono block amps on Amazon that RMS ~200W-300W), please consider the P1/P2 subs

I have these in a truck box with a 1200 Watt rms 1 ohm stable amp

While you definitely "feel" a good kick drum, its not quite as punchy or clean as it should be
