I had two acoustic guitars, but a 1973 Hernandis (this is an outstanding make of guitar, and a legit Hernandis from 1972 or 1973 can cost a couple of thousand dollars, but there are a lot of fakes; I got my copy in the seventies, so I know mine is not a fake) and a Taylor, both great guitars, but Rocksmith is really oriented to an electric guitar

It also helps to have a decent guitar, mine needs a better set up to fix some string buzz and I think that causes it to not register some notes when I've played it

At a minimum, if you don't have a guitar but are interested, I would recommend getting the version of Rocksmith that provides you with the most basic, least expensive guitar that is possible

I started lead guitar before, and it was much harder to understand guitar starting from zero knowledge.
