The sticks stop working

Only 1 stick works, that one works great and looks great while being played onstage, but the other stick just won't work, changed batteries, but that made no difference, gave them as a gift, and now have to pay for another pair

We continued to use them, even though they stopped lighting up, and last night the tips broke off both sticks of one set
