I tested it with some super bass tunes and it actually moved the whole floor

Good sound not a true bass...

However I will say even with the rattle the speaker really really performs with deep clear bass

a decent EQ.After a couple hours of reasonable breaking in and tweaking, I took them to a BBQ for the 4th that was fairly chill- nothing super loud and no unusually low bass... just typical top-40 stuff and family friendly volume.
