RODE PSA 1 Swivel Mount Studio Microphone Boom Arm

    • I've tried cheaper mic stand alternatives and this one is definitely worth the money
    • In one of the video reviews it showed how with a solid mic to stand setup would pick up the slightest sound like if you took a writing pen and dropped it on the table the Mic picked up that sound, I bought a Blue Yeti Black edition mic and a RODE PSA1 Swivel Mount Studio Microphone Boom mic stand as I mentioned
    • The tension is not adjustable, so make sure you've got a pretty hefty mic
    • Stiff enough to support my Yeti mic, this combined with a shock mount is an amazing setup.
    • Maybe mine's slightly defective or there's just too much weight with the pop mic and shock mount, but it doesn't even seem like it would hold up a lighter mic that well
    • cheaper NEEWER mic arm that I had considering it supports more and is much bigger.
    • I don't think it will support a very heavy mic, but it supports the Rode NTA1 with 2 pop filters quite nicely, has a lovely side to side swivel.
    • It's a very good mic arm however there are some things about
    • I also purchased an excellent mic which sits in the mount
    • Sturdy, good build, excellent for what I needed it for which is to be a reliable mic mount.
    • The build quality is great, it moves very smoothly and it includes two different mount types (both through-desk and clamp style) that a VERY strong and do not bend/distort like some of the other mounts I've used (even when hanging a heavy mic like the EV RE-20).Highly Recommended!
    • arm}Pro: It works significantly better then all the cheaper mic arms for my heavy blue yeti
    • but it is a hefty mic and most stands crumble under its mighty weight
    • This is the best mic arm ever
    • Don't skimp out on a cheap mic stand for expensive mic and just buy this!!!
    • There is a major issue with the screws remaining tight; they have the potential to malfunction and cause your mic will go limp forever.
    • I found cheaper mic arms on-line, and here at Amazon, however, I read a lot of on-line reviews, and saw that this one was the cheapest in price PRO quality arm.

    • Pros-It's a mic boom arm that clamps well even on a thick table
    • My mic fell limp and I couldn't understand why, I tried to tighten the thumb screws further, but could only manage another turn or two before my thumbs ached, and the mic was still completely limp
    • Best mic stand I’ve ever used
    • I have a NEEWER Microphone Suspension Boom as well which has issues supporting my heavier mic, but this product is amazing if you can spare the extra money.
    • It's a great heavy duty Mic arm that is even sturdy enough to hold up my Blue Yeti, 100$ seems kinda high, but I can promise it's well
    • Sturdy and reliable- move the mic to any position and it remains there (despite my microphone being heavy)
    • best mic arm i've ever owned

    • Excellent quality mic boom
    • That is because, to clear the mic from your face, you would have to either lift the mic arm way high or to rotate the whole shebang to the side.
    • Since my microphone is no longer anchored to a static mic stand on my desk, I am able to easily move about my workspace and just drag the mic along with me
    • Basically, the mic is hanging down... and when look at directly, a visible tilt to the left is shown
    • It's a bit expensive for a mic arm but it's also the most popular mic
    • Very useful handy convenient holds my shure mic
    • Was a bit worried whether it would support my very heavy mic + shock mount, but it works beautifully

    • Omg this is the best mic arm for any mic, I live stream on twitch.tv and it's been amazing would buy again if I have to
    • I recently bought the Neewer boom mic
    • It works silently and if you have a vibration cage attached to your mic while using this, you will not get any noise transmitted into your show when you do move the boom mic
    • The video review had his mic hooked up so he could show using Audacity the actually graphs from the sound and it was impressive that when he did some tests, one being dropping the pen on the table not only could you not see any difference in the Audacity graph you couldn't even hear the sound that the pen dropping caused with the solid mic stand
    • My first mic boom
    • Great mic mount for desktop, it can be adjusted in a way it doesn’t bother and it keeps the mic where you leave it.

    • A bit pricey in terms of mic boom arms, but it works great and I would definitely recommend if you got the cash to throw at it
    • So many more mic booms at a way lower price
    • The only negative has been that with where it's set up now the mic tends to droop if I'm not paying attention to it.

    • Hides the cords well enough, and support my mic barely.
    • I use this for the NT-USB and it is beautiful, it is the BEST mic stand that I have ever owned!!
    • I'd say it is “just” large enough for a hefty mic like the SM7b.
    • I bought this RODE PSA1 Swivel Mount Studio Microphone Boom mic stand which cost me $99 to replace a $29.99 Knox Studio Boom Mic arm & stand
    •  I complained to my husband about the price, however...even when this is not usual... he was right!I used to have a cheap mic holder that a 3 years old girl broke playing with it

    • Best mic boom on the market.

    • He has his Blue Yeti Mic on this, and it works great for that
    • This is a good looking mic arm that functions well
    • It makes using the mic so much more convenient
    • A very nice mic stand
