They could engineer the remote a bit better but not to worry, the phone app is excellent!

Also note the remote buttons are a bit hard to press, kind of "sticky" which is mainly a hassle when you're trying to set the Roku up.

Initial set-up, connection to wi-fi, and logging in to your various streaming services is a bit tedious with the basic remote, but once it's set up it remembers the settings & passwords even through re-boots and power cycles.

Does hang up a bit and has to reboot.

This can be a bit annoying but not enough to mark the product down.
