Love the Roku channel but , they could add more blockbuster hitting movies.

Bought a new one, my old one was an original model and it did not support the new channels,

I was looking for a one stop shop for accessing my favorite channels and Roku is just what I needed

I love Roku and with the launch of their own free channel, it just keeps getting better.

I'm afraid to pull the power on the player because setting up your favorite channels and cloud dvr takes quite a bit of time

You can stream your paid channels onto this device like Netflix, Hulu, etc but at the same time, there are so many other free channels

It is definitely lacking some of the free channels that I had on the blu-ray network (I wonder why), but since we use it mostly for Netflix, it works for us now.

My great first streaming device, and after playing with it for 24 hours, I am well-aware how it works, super simple...and so many free programs and channel options.!!

My only complaint is you have to give them a credit card number during set-up , even if you are only going to watch free channels.

And you loose the channel and have to reprogram on a regular basis

I don't like the smaller remote (also have a Roku 3 from 7 years ago) as it's easier to lose and there is no headphone

This one is much better but not as fast as when I'm watching cable
