With my style of right hand non cross stick playing, I had to switch the ride to the left side of the kit over the high hat which can make the crash reach on the right awkward depending on the circumstance, This additional crash is much closer to the layout of my acoustic kit
The pain in the pocket is worth it, especially if you can hunt down a good second hand example, which is exactly what I did.

I bought this roland cymbal because my Kat cymbal 12 inch didn’t work anymore the input was damaged because of the vibrations I believe, but this roland cymbal it’s so much better than my Kat cymbals.
