After playing flats for so long I'm having to be more disciplined to avoid string squeak, but that's actually a good thing and my playing and technique have improved as a result

These are possibly the best strings I've played yet

I'm just a rank amateur and an old geezer, but I've been looking for the right string to give me that traditional P bass tone, not too muddy or too bright
