With the heat sink installed on the bottom of the board, you need risers of 1/4" for the heat sink to work on a breadboard base

With the furnished heat sinks installed, the board has roughly the same heat temps as 2 similar full size mother boards I tested against.

When you apply the heat sinks that come with the kit, the supplied housing will not work.

so I sent it back as defective and ordered a complete kit from Canakit which included a case, power supply, and heat sinks
