This is a great kit for someone wanting to get into SDR for 50mhz-1.7ghz.

Sensitivity seems to be better than the standard 820T as well

The extra antennas (one small ~12" and one big ~6') are easily worth the extra $5.One other note about the amp draw: other sdr's (the dvb-t type) work fine on a Raspberry Pi 2, but this one seems to pull too much current and doesn't work for me.
