I bought one these to play with after a bad experience with another brand of SDR dongle - this one works great, and installed perfectly the first time using the Quick Start Guide printed on the case of the dongle

The larger one works well with FM broadcast bands

Solid receiver works well with a lot of readily available SDR software.

I have discovered also that this little gem, HiLetgo 0.1-2000MHz RF WideBand Amplifier 30dB High Gain Low Noise LNA Amplifier the HiLetGo signal amplifier works very well to pull in weaker

The included antennas work well for strong signals

The extra antennas (one small ~12" and one big ~6') are easily worth the extra $5.One other note about the amp draw: other sdr's (the dvb-t type) work fine on a Raspberry Pi 2, but this one seems to pull too much current and doesn't work for me.
