If I am remembering correctly, BPA was only very marginally bad for water bottles that were reused over and over and outside where sun radiation could break down the 'plastic'

The plastic remains clear and unclouded.

However, it is a good quality plastic, which I expect I will get many years uses out of it.

It has some flex, but crystal clear plastics tend to be more brittle than other polypropylene plastics (#5) that are not quite crystal clear but have more flex to them.

The plastic is nice and thick and holds its shape, even when full of water.

Cheap plastic, get something better like a cambro.
