I scratched the lens in less than two weeks and just use the additional sports case they sell

As costly as this camera is I really wish they'll invest more in using a more durable lens

scratched lens and all.

Cheaper lens replacement should also not be overlooked.

Has 2 bulbous lens that protrudes outside the body of the cam, so if you drop it, you are most likely to crack the lens

My biggest complaint is I've already scratched two lens in my first three weeks of use.

I scratched the front lens simply by dropping the camera on my desk while trying to unplug it from the transfer cable.

Lastly the protective case, which pretty much should be a requirement given all the reviews about the weak lens, is way overpriced at $

I lent my camera to a friend and he cracked the lens, so I shipped it back, and they were able to replace it for only $40
