I've ordered a $21 hub w/ power supply from Elegiant instead, working like a charm.

Other hubs were spotty and would randomly go on and off making it impossible to save documents when they were off.

Will only work as a hub from a PC if you dangle it.

Having a good hub is important as computer manufacturers have started to limit USB ports and RJ45 jacks

So, before you quickly come to the conclusion that this hub is defective, you need to make sure your have a device that supports HDMI over USB C.Overall, I am happy with this sabrent usb hub

This is a really good compact USB hub and works for all Neolithic laptops provided by offices which eschew usb C and more ports

Maybe it's not the hub's issue, but since I plugged my mouse and a keyboard, they keep stopping to work randomly (most of the time a mouse does it)
