I purchased this product for my granddaughter who is scheduled to have foot surgery and will need to keep her foot elevated throughout the day.

While this is a bit heavy and industrial- it works perfectly for what I needed, fits under the kitchen table so my mother can elevate her feet, the height is adjustable so I can change depending how much edema she has and the non slip

It's probably very durable and it does keep your feet from sliding off, but it will destroy your shoes if you allow the back or sides of your leather shoe to touch the footrest, much like rubbing coarse sandpaper across them would

So this works great to support my feet vs the typical ring at the bottom of that chair
