I bought the 005 (.20 mm) pen set because I wanted very fine point pens for making notes in my Bible and just for general use

They are not the pens for me; however, in all fairness to the pen manufacturer, I bear down firmly when I write and could have easily trashed the points which appear to me to be vulnerable to firm pressure.

You do have to be careful with applying too much pressure as the fine point could bend if you press too hard
