They do wear out, but the price is reasonable, and I give it a workout with every batch of about a gallon - about a month's supply.

I have a lot of accessories from the first one that I really don't use, so this is nice priced, and exactly what I needed.

If you like your salsa with pieces the size of shelled peanut, you'll probable like this unit.

I can put in a little onion, cucumber, bell pepper, cabbage, and tomato and with just a dozen turns of the handle, everything is chopped the right size for my salad.

pieces 1/4" cubes in size, no finer, and this will knock out a whole onion to perfect size in seconds

Love the size of the canister and the chopping capability.

Nice little salsa maker, got it to replace an older version of this one

It makes a great salsa maker and you can make a chunky or thinner texture depending on how long you want to turn it

this is a very good salsa maker but the manufacture has cheapened this unit by omitting a handle very hard to hold on to.

Never knew how much I missed my salsa maker after it broke until I went to a friends house and used theirs

I have been using salsa choppers for the past 20 years and this is definitely not near as good as any chopper that I've had in the past.

It was a nice product until today when the teeth broke off a cog on the inside portion of the crank handle

Some products I have used in the past was rather difficult to turn the handle because the blades just would not cut the vegetables.

A little smaller than I anticipated but overall, great product.

This product is well worth the money and makes the sauce is so super easy to make

For making a chunky salsa or a quick chop on things this would work well. if you've put them in the chopper in somewhat smaller chunks.

If you like chunky salsa, only a couple turns of the blade will do

No electricity or complex gadgets, just put ingredients in and give it a couple cranks--clockwise for chunky salsa, counter-clockwise for smooth guac

You will love this tool, it took less than 15 seconds to chop up a medium sized onion I had cut in 8 pieces and dropped in on the blades.

I ordered a proper food processor which just came in yesterday and hopefully my pico will be easy to make now

Lots' less work using one of these for making pico than dragging out the food processor.

The blades are dull, the crank is rickety and it is really a disappointment.

The blades stay sharp forever (unless they have changed materials) as they are made of surgical steel.

It’s very easy to use and the blade is super sharp and stays that way.

Over the years, the blade became dull, the bowl began to crack, the gears occasionally slipped, and even the handle cracked, but I still used it whenever I needed breadcrumbs, making egg salad, pate, or finely chopped anything

It's cam broken and cracked can't use it with out everything falling out of the side because it is cracked and missing a piece
