Doesn’t do a best job blending hard things like nuts into mush.

The only thing I ever use my food processor for is to grind up raw vegetables into veggie mix for my two big dogs.

Made a few things like my own spread for bagels, desserts and misunderstood the directions and mushed my onion instead of slicing it

Hamilton Beach used to be a fine brand but now, like, it seems, so many other things, it produces poorly made junk

I wouldn't recommend this product if you plan on using it more than once or twice a year.

Product did not work when I opened the box and tried to use it

I ordered this product twice and on both occasions it blew when I plugged it in.

It’s less expensive than most, but what a great product.

It's easy to clean and it's made to fit in a fairly compact space by storing everything in the top bowl

Best of all, it works great - I love the design which allows me to mix dry ingredients first, then grate cheese or butter into the mix without changing bowls - great for making pie crust!

I then cleaned the mixing bowl and found it to be cracked

Had this for many years and unfortunately kitchen helper put the plastic components in the bottom of the dishwasher and bowl warped a little so it did not close properly afterwards.

But when I tried to grate cheese this week, the center spindle disintegrated and now it is unusable

It shreds cheese well and has done well for blending sauces for me

The second time I used the food processor to grate cheese, using the instruction manual that came with the processor, the black center holder snapped in half

I would've thought cheese would be easy to shred/slice but the motor couldn't handle it causing the plastic part holding the blade to shatter and the blade to bobble all over.2

The item is cheap, arrived broken, and they have a joke of a customer service

Unfortunately one night as I was shredding some cheddar cheese, like I have done several times before, the blades seized up causing plastic to bend in a way that I couldn't open the lid without further breaking the whole item

The plastic piece you used to push the food down to be sliced was nice to have, but it did not cut things evenly and did not cut them well

Around the 5th time I used it (just 2 months after receiving the food processor), the control knob broke/split, and can no longer be used to change the setting

The handle on the plastic body broke after about 10 uses.

I opened the box and was bummed out to see that the handle was shattered

Less egregious, but still annoying, is the hollow handle on the carafe which can also allow food to enter - with no easy way to clean

The processor broke the handle & also parts of the thing that holds the disc steady
