While it does a fair to good job processing the food (I often have to open it up and push food down from the sides so it will be engaged by the blades), my biggest complaint is that liquid shoots out of the seal between the lid and the main part

it is very smooth and tapered, which makes lifting it after processing slippery (e.g., oily) foods almost impossible; and it has a hole at the top through which food can enter and leak onto the propeller shaft
