At first I thought it was cheap plastic, it is very lightweight & does an awesome job of shredding.

It's not the most well-made equipment, but it does its job well and feels fairly durable

I’ve had it for about three years, I have maybe used it seven times, and today I finally found out that it does not do a very good job of shredding cheese it just gets stuck

While it does a fair to good job processing the food (I often have to open it up and push food down from the sides so it will be engaged by the blades), my biggest complaint is that liquid shoots out of the seal between the lid and the main part

The safety lockout works just like it's supposed to, and the blades do a pretty good job shredding a brick of cheese, which is what I've been using it for

It is still fairly loud, as my old one was, but it does a great job at cutting vegetables and pulse mixing flour dough for pies or crumb toppings.
