• Reviews around speed (4.04 of 5)

Samsung 32GB BAR (METAL) USB 3.0 Flash Drive (MUF-32BA/AM)

    • Slow write speeds (barely 30 MBs) is too slow for a supposedly usb3 drive
    • 18.04.If speed isn't a worry for you then this drive is nice and sturdy, but for me these are worthless
    • And while I can deal with those slower speeds since this is just meant as a backup drive, the biggest issue is honestly the heat
    • It may have phenomenal sequential speed (for the first 30-60 sec anyway), but that means nothing when you're trying to do something on a live boot system and it feels like you're trying to muddle through windows 98 still.
    • Bad product and speed test are incorrect
    • The read speeds are great
    • The drive supports USB 3.0 for super fast speeds and the little lanyard hole is a life saver
    • The writing speed is TERRIBLE
    • Not to mention they had very little hours used on them since I would use my SanDisk USB drives instead which have a significant speed increase over these
    • Slow speeds but did the trick
    • it does fast speeds, if youre using them in a 3.0 port for your computer you should be fine, but ive had a few devices that cant recognize these, they just dont show up, or theyll take a long time, or theyll randomly disconect, its annoying to say the least, I couldnt get them to work in a usb extender, I think they must draw a lot of power or something
    • Speed is super fast
    • reliable good speed
    • Very good Flash Drive, cool design with good speed

    • I Experienced no problems and it has good speed.

    • Unlike other, cheaper, USBs this has a lovely metallic finish, good upload speed, and is waterproof
    • Speed is decent since I'm not transferring huge
    • The speed is incredible and well worth the upgrade to 3.0.
    • Great read/write speeds, as advertised
    • It has amazing speed at USB 3 and is 32GB compared to most other USB sticks that sell at around 15$ for only
    • Sturdy and compact with good transfer speeds
    • Great style, secure on a keychain, decent speed.
    • Use it daily, so far perfect and speed is good
    • , I use it for university usually (power point, word, pdf, etc..) and quick back ups, it has a good speed for me, sadly full of scratches but other than that i'm happy with it.
    • This drive has very slow average write speed of 20mb/s and the transfer rate jumps wildly from 5mb to 25mb.
    • I often write large files to this device 40+GB and it always starts out around 6-14MB a second which is good speed
    • Large capacity, fast speed, tiny volume, elegant look
    • After additional intensive testing, I had to make sure the incredible speeds were real
    • My old PNY flash drive has a steady write speed of 40mb/s when transferring large movie files to it
    • This drive is pretty hefty for something of its size, it's got fast transfer speeds and it's served me perfectly well every time I've used it.
    • Super fast speeds.
    • Cheap thumb drive good speeds
    • Great size, great speed
    • Well made and good speed.
    • It can be some weird compatibility problem (as other devices work at faster and more consistent transfer speeds), but even then it would be a negative mark against it (and therefore useful to have this review for people to properly set people's expectations, in case that ends up being the case for them).
    • good speed
    • Fast speeds with usb 3.0 and durable
    • Used this item for a while, speed was solid but Just couldn't get used to the shape

    • Good transfer speeds, fed it almost a 100GB and no overheating or issues
    • The Drive is extremely slow and doesn't maintain a steady speed
    • However it is disappointing manufacturers haven't found a way to get faster write speeds,
    • high speed and lots of space, love the metallic design, doesnt feel like it will break.
    • The main reason for my purchase was slower speed of USB 2.0 flash drives which is 4-8 mbps on avg
    • Very functional easy to carry on and the speed of copy is amazing
    • What can i say..great price for a 32GB 3.0 Samsung flashdrive, great speeds as stated
    • Great speed, really convenient format
    • Once you exceed the 50% mark on the read/write tests, the write speeds do drop, but not significantly.
    • FYI, SanDisk Ultrafit writes at 26 MB/s but will slow down to 16 MB/s after about 1GB of transfer at the higher rate and does get noticeably warm
