WHY am I signing up for a smart home app just to operate a TV?Anyways, went through all that trouble after providing the same information previously requested to purchase the TV in the first place

I love having Spotify as an app, that’s the only one that stuck out to me as what usually isn’t available on other smart TV’s

Samsung does not support two of my favorite apps and I have to attach a ROKU to it, which degrades the picture quality

Upon delivery of the product, I noticed the TV wouldn't turn on unless I downloaded a smartthings app from the app store which requested all my user information from email, phone number, and address and signed me up for a smart home app?
