I have found amazing startup speed since installing my Samsung 850 Pro

the two i have installed so far are both in laptops with a 3.0gb bus speed thruput so the speed is better than before but ssd did NOT turn the laptops into speed demons

In my opinion, the extra speed is well worth the money.

The fact is though, that even at slower speed- it's still tons faster than an HHD for htigns like booting speed- loading games and programs- and virtually no wait once the desktop loads on boot-

The frame rate is 1/4 the speed of a desktop, and overclocking will make short work of killing your CPU, drive(s), GPU(s) and motherboard
