It’s a great SSD and Samsung makes it easy to migrate to with their free software tool

The software is very good because you can benchmark ANY storage device not just the Samsung ssd and check the drive health

Their transfer software works perfectly and the unit just keeps working

To top it off, I used the free Samsung Magician software to "optimize" the installed drives.

Used Macrium free software to transfer files including windows onto the new disk

I downloaded Macrium Reflect Free software and cloned my C: drive

Aside from the reliability, the biggest advantage to me of Samsung is the available software to make migration easy and later to manage the features of the drives.

However, the data migration tool is a great software

Install is a snap, downloadable software is really excellent to make transferring and monitoring a snap, and performance is superior

Computer recognized it immediately, the download able software was the easiest software I have ever used & made the job less than a hour, could not be better!

However the Samsung magician software doesn't want to work with neither the 870 Evo
