Easy install into my Lenovo P17

Super easy install

I was a little nervous installing this 1TB SSD on my alienware 17 R5 laptop because after countless hours of research, I couldn't really find any definitive source on the web that says that the AW 17R5 supported this particular SSD samsung 1TB drive

Install is easy

Easy install, temps are fine with the right airflow

I thought Samsung was a top tier brand name, but after installing this SSD on my motherboard, it had an issue with it being detected by the BIOS

Install was super easy

This is the EASIEST install I’ve ever done

The fan was very loud on 1 of my 4 Dell 5285 after this was installed

After I went thru the difficult physically install of the device I found that it would not work without a BIOS update for my computer

After taking the hard-drive to be installed by Best Buy, it was easy doing the Windows 10 USB installation myself

the 970 EVO Plus on the Macs or the PC.So far, in my workflow of audio and video editing as well as installing Parallels and Windows on it within the external enclosure, it performed well, but YMMV depending on the enclosure.

I recommend a new install, but if you need to ghost your old drive then it works well.

Disappointed that sequential write speed is not as fast as advertised (Install in a brand new ASUS B550-PLUS motherboard)
