I have previously installed Samsung TV's with SMART capability, and liked what I saw

If you use port #1, that seems to confuse the TV, and makes it sometimes difficult to select a "source"

Judging from reviews of the newest Blu Ray players, Samsung appears to have serious quality issues with it's players, they do make great TV's though.
