I gave it 2 stars bc the blu ray player is awesome quality.

It provides a superior picture quality...although Im sure it helps we have a 1080p Lcd Tv

This player is poor quality.

I have the Samsung remote app on my iPad2 and can control it if the Samsung remote gets lost (as remotes often are lost in my house).The Blu-ray has excellent quality even on my 720 pixel TV.

However, BUYER BEWARE...the Samsung apps are very poor quality and pretty much ignore any and all tenants of good user experience

Works fine though as I usually take my home movies and stage their .iso files for authoring to BluRay but also can quickly output them to say an iPad format that plays with very nice quality on my 1080P Plasma.
