    Samsung BD-D5700 3D Blu-ray Disc Player (Black) [2011 MODEL]

    • Been using it for a couple of months and love it for both playing blu-ray discs as well as streaming from Netflix.
    • I had the same streaming issues and remote control problems it seems like virtually everyone else here did, but the most aggravating problem I have is that every few weeks or so, the playback of any DVD starts "jumping," getting progressively worse until I have to reset the player to factory settings.
    • Just last weekend, while trying to watch a Netflix streaming movie, the stream was interrupted so many times for rebuffering that, out of shear frustration, I disconnected the Samsung and re-installed the Roku XD
    • If you want streaming avoid this product like the plague.
    • I got my Netflix started and the streaming was good, until I tried to pause it
    • I couldn't get good streaming from Netflix (I know my internet connection and router are good).2
    • The unit has built in apps that simplify streaming
    • I wanted this product for both its ability to play blu-rays as well as streaming services
    • After a bit of reorganizing my home server, I can now use this device as a pretty good streaming jukebox for my entire music library (or to show slideshows very nice-looking copies of my photos)
    • Netflix streams very good(I Have 6MBPS plan with ATT
    • I don't believe you can setup Netflix without doing this kind of an round about way to set it up but it worked for me an streaming video works great.
    • Just flipping through the Amazon reviews, very few seem to be stellar streaming machines.
    • I don't believe you can setup Netflix without doing this kind of an round about way to set it up but it worked for me an streaming video works great.
    • The streaming, well let's just say its very, very disappointing.
    • I keep getting an error message that we're "not connected to the internet", yet I'm on the internet on my lap top & streaming music through my apple tv, so what's the deal???I DO NOT recommend this if you want it for netflix.
    • * good picture quality* good netflix streaming although picture quality is not perfect* works great with my Samsung
    • The original product I had was the BD-D5700/ZA, the flaws with the original player were slow/low bandwidth streaming (NOT HD streaming), as well as tediously slow player response
    • I am very disappointed that closed captions are not available while streaming to this device
    • This player was rated very high by Consumer Reports as well as by Amazon
    • Everything worked as it should.
    • Doesnt play standard dvds nearly as well as my $35 no name player
    • I wanted to wirelessly stream movies and video thru Netflix and YouTube, as well as from my computer
    • The UI for the Netflix and Hulu Plus apps is not as clean as it is on XBOX Live.
