Been using it for a couple of months and love it for both playing blu-ray discs as well as streaming from Netflix.

I had the same streaming issues and remote control problems it seems like virtually everyone else here did, but the most aggravating problem I have is that every few weeks or so, the playback of any DVD starts "jumping," getting progressively worse until I have to reset the player to factory settings.

Just last weekend, while trying to watch a Netflix streaming movie, the stream was interrupted so many times for rebuffering that, out of shear frustration, I disconnected the Samsung and re-installed the Roku XD

I don't believe you can setup Netflix without doing this kind of an round about way to set it up but it worked for me an streaming video works great.

Just flipping through the Amazon reviews, very few seem to be stellar streaming machines.

I keep getting an error message that we're "not connected to the internet", yet I'm on the internet on my lap top & streaming music through my apple tv, so what's the deal???I DO NOT recommend this if you want it for netflix.

The original product I had was the BD-D5700/ZA, the flaws with the original player were slow/low bandwidth streaming (NOT HD streaming), as well as tediously slow player response

I am very disappointed that closed captions are not available while streaming to this device
