    • In the interim, I've spent hours on the phone with tech support where they've refused to let me use my warranty to send it in

    • I've had this player for 2+ years and it's given me nothing but trouble (and Samsung's tech support as never been any help whatsoever when I've called them)

    • All calls to Samsung tech support have gotten us nowhere; they've attempted to shift the blame onto Netflix, our ISP, our router.
    • I called Samsung tech support and was made to jump through hoops with my router company (which was providing an excellent signal to Samsung's crappy machine)
    • I will say if you do need to use their tech support, it's wonderful.
    • Of course, I had to figure that one out myself, because despite multiple calls to Tech Support, the only thing they could seem to think of was resetting the whole thing, which never worked
    • Samsung put out an upgrade that completely screwed up the netflix app (the only one I use) and tech support could not help.
    • I spent about 4 hours in all with Samsung tech support and they escalated the issue couple of times and finally determined that I had received a defective piece
