Every other feature of the player (settings, "Smart" hub, you name it) also dies

After returning the smart hub, I did more researched (read alot of these types of reviews) and decided on a Logitech Revue with GoogleTV.

The smart hub comes with a standard remote and you use arrow keys to move the mouse cursor around the screen.

I was impressed with the speed of the smart hub (i.e. the browser and apps launched quickly

The smart hub does have the functionality I was looking for in terms of web browsing and apps.

I have not really used the smart hub all that much as I have other devices for netflix, youtube etc with better UI than what samsung offers

If you were using the "Netflix" Smart Hub application you may need to re-activate it after resetting the network on the unit

If you unit is hung after using the BD-Live feature or a "Smart Hub" application try the following:1

you have to restart the DVD player and many times the audio doesn't work in sync with the video.i also prefer the samsung "star hub" UI vs. the default they show you.i like the overall look, the fact that there is a netflix button on the remote.

Seems to work fine until last month(March 2012) when I upgraded to the latest firmware (Smart Hub), smart hub dosnt work any more,looks like installation got corrupted

It's a shame, this unit has a very nice smart hub interface and its very intuitive.

Then the player started to always want the Smart Hub to upgrade itself without permission but it wouldn't finish and then it finally downloaded an upgrade and the streaming pic went away.
