Sounds like some people got bad units and that is a shame because when it works it is a great product, especially for the price.

It turned out to be a frustrating lesson in researching the product before buying.

It's a decent blu-ray player and Netflix streamer, but the erroneous product description, lack of apps, and buggy quirks ended up tipping the balance in favor of a return and refund.

I would not recommend this product.

We tried two other, much more expensive, 3-D/Bluray players that gave us a lot of trouble.

I think they look better on my TV than on my computer (probably due to some up-scaling?)- For reference, the Blu-Ray connects directly to a Samsung 46" LED UND46D6400 TV (also 3-D capable) via HDMI
