    Samsung BD-F5900 3D Wi-Fi Blu-ray Disc Player (2013 Model)

    • If you want a Blu-ray player then this works just fine but the wireless features are not reliable.
    • Nice features
    • At first she had a hard time navigating, but after couple of tries, she loves all the features.
    • all the apps works great all new features the visual quality its great and resolucion in a 1080p full HD is great!!
    • One of my favorite feature of this BluRay player are the top touch controls on the actual player
    • Was wanting a blu ray player for the bedroom tv and the smart features (amazon prime, hulu, netflix) only down side to this is poor wifi reception
    • This was still less than $200.00 bucks, but I hate spending money on redundant features that I don't use.
    • It has the full complement of apps and features that you will find on their latest SmartTVs
    • And the built in browser is a cool feature also
    • I use it on an older TV that does not have a smart feature.
    • The smart features are very nice, but it's like they tried so hard to make the smart part that they forgot about the DVD part
    • Essentially the "smart" features are useless
    • Included remote, while a bit crowded, has nice buttons and cool features like the Netflix button
    • The picture is perfect and the features are very easy to navigate on the system (Netflix & Amazon movies are awesome on this device).
    • Easy to hook up and features compatible with competition
    • This blu-ray player has excellent features and picture quality
    • Those two things are of top importance to me, but also the smart features performed equally well
    • It also tells me that is is always a good idea to update players every few years with changing technology as well as new features available
    • if I turned off the BD-Wise feature and just set it to 1080p, this lets the upscaling work properly, otherwise you get a soft image
    • incredible features for the price.
    • Essentially the "smart" features are useless
    • The player has a lot of attractive features and especially it has the media player kind of function
    • Great solution to add smart features to any TV, but especially those offering 3D reproduction, both active and passive types.
    • Fast startup on disc and smart features add value even though I have a smart tv
    • For the price, this unit has great features and the quality is there, too.
    • Nice product to have and reasonable feature and functionalities
    • Great features
    • I've tried it on a Samsung 3D TV without smart features as well as a smart Vizio 3D and it seems to work equally well
    • Love my Pandora and other APP features
    • The smart features are actually much more reliable than the ones on her TV
    • The top controls, as opposed to the earlier front controls, are an undesirable feature because the set-top converter box sits on this unit.
    • I picked up the Samsung F5900 mainly for the Smart features and to watch Hulu Plus
    • Even if I opted to keep this thing, I decided I was NOT going to ever use the smart features on this device to replace the snappiness of my Quad
    • However, if you're an archivist cord-cutter, videophile, or anyone who likes to have a bit more control over the media you purchase, then you'll probably want to either avoid the BD-F5900, or get it and love it for its streaming services and excellent BD player, but basically ignore its local media playback features and get yourself something else that doesn't have Cinavia on it to handle that task
    • The full web browser has an "approved sites" feature that was turned on that denies access to any website unless it's approved
    • When the internet did work, the type and search features were tedious, slow, and difficult to figure out.
    • Yes, this is a great Blu-ray player, but the greatest it's greatest feature is its wide array of apps
    • its great all the features are
    • When the internet did work, the type and search features were tedious, slow, and difficult to figure out.
    • One feature of this unit I have really come to hate
    • Smart features all work fine.
    • Very disappointing to spend more on a player with smart features and not be able to use them.
    • I would not buy for the smart features (netflix, spotify, etc)
    • Also, the online features like Netflix don't freeze in the middle like my old Samsung BR
    • I love this player and all the extra 'App' features that are available on this player.
    • Plays wired connected HD streaming media great as well as wireless SD contend such as that found on Netflix.
    • So far everything is working as it should after three weeks.
    • It probably has a few less possible programs than the best of the Roku devices, but they've all loaded well, and no programming has choked as yet
    • So, I have to watch netflix on my laptop, which defeats the purpose of buying a
