so did a factory reset and went through the setting again to cure the problem , rebooted the play loaded the disc again and it played giving excellent results with every feature tested ,also it gained access to the PC and played all videos selected stored in a video folder the results were first class , yes it played discs from the UK , Aust , the USA auto without the need to select the region , with stunning results , this Samsung BD-J5900 player can be highly recommended as a all region media device .
