A few drawbacks: the digital display is small and faint...practically useless

either it's the display for the DVD player as well

Also, I don't know if this was a fluke, or what, but a couple of weeks after I bought the 3-D capable Blu-ray player and the sound stopped working completely.

It shouldn't claim to do both if it fails as frequently as it appears to.

After which tested out DVDs, and blu-ray DVDs, and everything works as it should

While the picture might not be as sharp as on an LCD, the difference is noticeable
