The lack of back lighting is not usually an issue as the letters are reflective and the amazing screen illuminates them

The battery is somewhat lacking and can drain rather quick, mic and camera are decent but nothing to write home about, and the keyboard isn't the best for large hands

If you are complaining about a lack of backlighting on keyboard, well, that shouldn't have been a surprise.
