If the m3 version has a backlit keyboard and they sort out the buggy software I may give it a shot

The important take-away here is that many of the gaps in available software that made Chromebooks a dubious purchase in the past have been filled with Android's software library

Samsung makes great TV’s but they do not make good laptops.
