The major drawback it the font cover always opens and positions the phone screen down when the phone is dropped.

The cover has a nice reflective front but scratches very easily and provides no protection!

We are not talking about some cheap cover, made by some no name company - this is a grossly overpriced case by Samsung, who obviously did not "test" the case for aesthetic durability.

I do wonder how well the hinges and finish will hold up, but the Note 4 cover held up really well for over 3 years, so hopefully this one will too

It was ok, wish the top screen cover was actually touch screen, if you fold the cover behind the phone as you would when you use it, you cant take pictures

If you decide to buy this, check the front very carefully when you first open it and then be extra careful what you let it rub against (keys, change, other metal, etc.).Second, the entire front cover is made of this plastic, but it's not clear

You can use the phone with the cover closed but you can't use the s-pen for notes with the cover closed (probably because the cover would be too scratched up by doing that)

It's a good cover for note 8

The only "advantage" over cheaper leather cases is the S view screen that allows you to see the clock thought the semi-transparent cover by pressing any button

The "s-clear" cover only has the ability to show the default square number clock so you cant use always on display at all

so I don't know if it will work in the Dex with the cover on, but based on what I remember, it seems like the cover is too thick to allow the USB-C port to align correctly

I thought I had a defective cover and replaced it, however, same thing on the new cover

This cover is very compatible with my phone

The top plastic cover is so soft that after one day of use, it already has a scratch.

But the transparent cover scratches very easily.

Only downside the cover is plastic and scratches very easily and becomes hard to see through.

Very well priced, gorgeous cover for my Note 8, my investment and connection to my work and family.

If you can live with that, it's a great cover.

However, it should not be forgotten that the Led View Cover has a better protection of your phone, more elegant and thinner than all the covers
