The phone features are not quite as intuitive, nor are the notifications as easy to find, as those on my old "dumb" phone, but I love the large screen size and functionality

All these annoyances are the price I pay for a nicer size and being able to customize my phone (ie, being free of iTunes), which is a nice way of saying that you have to spend a lot of time teaching it how to do things that the iPhone does automatically.
