So now I have a useless USB cable AND a useless battery case.

It's actually quite a nice case

This case is really good, the amount of charge it holds is enough for almost two extra charges

The included case is fairly nice too, it gives the phone a hefty, substantial feel but it will still slip in your pocket without any trouble

While I miss the S-View cover, I like the fact that this extended battery is a single unit, and the case is more durable than the Anker it is replacing

The only issue with this case is the case does not provide any screen protection nor does it cover the charging hole.

Instead of a standard back, this unit comes with a TPU back that functions as a protective case.

Its a rubbery case that protects the battery and does a good job protecting the back of the phone.

The back case is very comfortable in my hands and the baffles for the speakers allow me to hear notification sounds better when the phone is on a table.

Then the flexible outer casing on the OtterBox I was able to wrap around the larger battery and make it look fairly normal.
