This one is a good size screen and the pen is smooth to write with
-
Split screen feature of apps is nice feature but confusing and not supported by all apps
-
Pros:-The equivalent of writing on paper for note taking (finally!) and even better, because color switching is very easy.-Perfect for annotating PDFs (I recommend the app, Xodo)-Perfect screen for reading
-
I could not decide between this tablet and the Kindle HD 10.1 which has a better screen resolution and is a bit bigger, but is a heavier and thicker.
-
In conclusion, I find that this tablet is an excellent purchase for the price and I would highly recommend it to anyone on a budget who wants a decent large screen tablet but who isn't overly concerned with the lower screen resolution.
-
Amazon gave me the Tablet, Case, and Protective screen protector for FREE, for the hassle I had to go through
-
I guess if you want to connect to wifi to watch movies in standard definition on a 9" screen, and have the option to split that screen into two 4" windows so you can check email, this tablet would be great for you
-
This is also a nice screen for the money
-
S Pen, Long battery life, Excellent Screen
-
Luckily, Amazon customer service was fantastic and sent me a replacement no questions asked (well, besides "have you tried troubleshooting it?").The second tablet I received had a perfect screen (or as perfect as 132 ppi could get), but my joy was short lived
-
It's fast and has a beautiful screen.
-
Works like a champ larger screen great for movies and TV.
-
The screen is vivid, sharp, and bright-- despite what the press reviewers say.
-
Screen was good enough
-
so she doesn't have to manipulate the screen as much to read it the way she would on the smaller 1
-
It takes great pictures, but the screen is little dim
-
The screen shows beautifully and I love the idea of being able to share it with a guest
-
Great battery life, decent screen quality considering the wacom pen application, home screen appears blurry due to lower resolution app icons for some reason
-
I like the screen, for some reason though it sometimes flashes on and off
-
Your getting a 9.7 inch tablet with 2GB ram, a fast quad core processor, decent cameras, bright screen, duel speakers that sound good, amazing battery life, (almost as good as the iPads battery) and something that is pretty light
-
Loved the tablet but we dropped it and broke the screen
-
The screen is bright and clear, and Netflix, Pureflix, mlbTV, and NFL Mobile all stream perfectly.
-
Screen is nice.
-
Nice streamline appearance - fast functions and very clear screen.
-
The tablet works fine, the screen is nice and large (in fact, a tiny bit too large for my preference)
-
I read a number of reviews telling of poor screen resolution, but I find 1024 x 768 to be more than satisfactory.
-
Fire has a beautiful screen but
-
Beautiful screen
-
Very clear pictures/screen.
-
The screen is excellent, the battery life is fonominal
-
Better build quality, better screen resolution, aluminum frame, not plastic, faster speed, runs the same android as Samsung, etc

Even in comparison to my Note 5.. the screen on this is a joke
-
The screen feels like some polymer versus a glass screen like on the Nexus.
-
I have used lots of Super-AMOLED screen in the past and the first thing I noticed when using the tablet is the obvious low resolution and low pixel density
-
Upgrading from an Ipad3 and had ordered the Tab S. Realized that the Tab A has better battery life and the screen is no pixelated!Maybe not the best screen out
-
Others have commented on the poor screen resolution and picture quality on the 9.7" tablet
-
The screen is big enough and fast and yes I will recommend it to any body who wants a simple tablet for watching movies
-
The Tab A has an amazing battery, I have my brightness set at just under 50% (I don't like to have a blinding screen) and I've been using it for almost a week now and still have over 40% left
-
I really like the 4:3 screen ratio much more then the 16:10 screen ratio like the galaxy tab 4 10.1 inch
-
Samsung Galaxy Tab A is satisfyingly simple tablet, but its lackluster screen and relatively high price make it forgettable when compared to this Dell version here
-
Whole Family enjoys this tablet, easy and fun to use, size is great and screen is sharp and crisp
-
Easy setup and nice screen resolution
-
Split screen capabilities (depends on the app), surf on the net, streaming, video playing, MSOffice, sketching and did I mention, note taking (OneNote, S-note, Bamboo, Evernote

Processes commands quickly and has great screen
-
I have seen sharper screen images, but this one is more than good enough for me
-
The Tab A is thin, the screen is bright, and so far, everything is working perfectly.
-
Fast, colorful screen, and the s pen works great
-
If you like a nice screen, but the high def image is not important, you will be satisfied.
-
Samsung made sure it is a high quality product, fine finish, the s-pen works with high accuracy and is pressure sensitive with great responsiveness.the tablet has a big screen but not too big, and can hold for quite a long time w/o recharging.
-
Mine was defective right out of the box, screen was blurred, had multiple images and scan lines running verticaly.
-
Screen Size – the 4:3 screen size (like the Nexus 9 or iPad) is really nice for folks who are not into heavy multimedia use – movies, TV.
-
The screen is nice and bright and the touch controls work like a charm.
-
Very happy with this particular tablet has a nice large screen easy to view documents very lightweight quick and excellent battery life the only disadvantage is the back button does not have a backlight so in the dark it is difficult to find
-
The screen ruins it
-
This tablet has a nice long lasting battery and a wonderfully responsive S pen included
-
9.7" with great s-pen functionality.
-
After researching Samsung tablets (i use a Samsung phone and my old tablet was also Samsung), i decided on the Tab A, as i really loved my S pen from my old tablet and wanted another
