the speaker volume levels for each speaker requires you to use Samsung menu smart hub

So if I need to change the other 5 speakes levels I have to switch inputs on my tv to switch to the samsung bluray smart hub menu .. move through the menus and adjust the volume of each speaker without hearing my tv shows for context with the volume changes of each speaker

Even the Bluray is not accessible since I the smart hub main menu does not display anymore

Not to mention that now I am unable to do this anymore since the Smart Hub Menu is not working so I can't adjust audio, video, system update, or any smart apps since the menu won't display anymore

I've boosted it through the Samsung receiver, but even with the boost, it's not as strong as I personally like

Love the way this DVD plays both Blu-Ray and regular DVDs

Also, there is no easy way to mount the speakers safely, as the bracket on the back is too small for a strong screw

Instead of locating the speakers in their final position, running yards of speaker wires and hiding them as I worked my way back to the receiver (I hate wires and yearn for the days of fully wireless speakers,)

I expect no negative remarks and should that take place, I will immediately bring them forward as will I with any really great features.

This Samsung HT system has a nice feature: the two amps for the surround speakers are in a separate unit, connected wirelessly to the main HT unit

So, to compensate for that missing feature, I set each speaker at 6 dB.

On the plus side, Samsung's version of Miracast (simulcast of what's playing on your Samsung phone, or tablet) works like a champ, and the sound quality is very nice

Don't get me wrong, the surround sound on this is a good quality for the price, it's just that it does little to alleviate the countless hookups and wires, and maybe that was silly of me to think that it might do that.

it has been sent back to Samsung 3 times each time they put a new motherboard in it, each time it comes back utter junk!
