It also does a nice job of with the simulated surround sound

In the list of devices provided, Bose includes a list that seems to do a pretty good job of exhausting all of the different devices--including two types of AT&T cable boxes

It doesn't have the surround sound effect but it does a perfect job.

Though it's not true surround sound, the technology does a great job at simulating it with its two front drivers and two side drivers

Dialogue is very clear, does a good job at producing surround sound (especially for one small sound bar), and the bass is undistorted even at max volume

Watching the Blu-Ray version of Raiders of the Lost Ark, voices were well-represented and clear, and the system was able to keep up with the dynamic range of the movie.

The good: mid/high range speaker is very small and well-made, with a metal enclosure.

It has very nice range with high mids and good bass even though the bass is the only thing adjustable

These will definitely give a full sound with voices being easier to hear due to the nice range these output.

They lowered the price and they lowered the quality of sound as well

Just got it yesterday.not a great product, but pretty decent for the price 599, what can you expect with 599

Loved the product, Bose has once again surpassed expectations.

however the surround effects are kind if lacking definitelly not mind blowing considering the high price of $499

i bought this from my local best buy and never got comfortable with the price fueled by other people saying its overpriced i returned it and picked up a 399$ latest Sony that is more compatible with my sony tv basiclly this bose elimntes the option to see a volume bar display on the tv cause it hooks up with optical audio only which is so so hard to deal withthe replacement system i picked up at best buy after returning the

I purchased this thinking the speaker was wireless (my mistake for not researching further).

I recommend you either go big (buy the upgraded systems) or just settle for a cheaper $100-$250 Vizio, Sony, Samsung, etc
