My only pet peeve is that while initially it was recognized by my Samsung Smart TV as the default speaker, now one needs to constantly connect it manually via the menu.

No idea how/what could have happened - it's been plugged into the same surge protector that all of my other entertainment devices occupy (Smart TV, Blu-Ray player, Router, etc.), so I don't see it being a result of a power surge
