Both ones I bought have red XXX's on the area where there would be evidence of water damage.

The battery came with the distinct pink mark of water damage.

So these appear to be used water damaged batteries.

Purchased this back in November 2017 and it stopped holding a charge in March 2018 - I took the battery in to get it checked at a battery store and they noticed that the water damage indicator, shown by a red line appearing on the battery, was activated.

My phone has not been affected by water or damaged at all, so this battery came to me used from a phone that was water damaged...
